ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE
-
Internal Audit
Systematic process of collecting and evaluating documentation according its legal regulations (e.g. ISO and ANP).
-
Interpretative Analysis of Legislation
It consists of clarifying environmental laws, technical standards, and regulatory aspects.
-
Environmental Licensing
Legal procedure required by the Brazilian Environmental Legislation for the installation and operation of enterprises, as: joining of documents listed in the applicable laws and regulations (State and Federal scope); protocol; follow-up and diligence until the licensing.
-
Obtaining a Water Grant Process
The Granting of the Right to Use Water is an administrative instrument, contained in the Brazilian Water Resources Policy (Law 9.433 / 1997). This instrument confers to its holder the right to use water resources in projects that will require large abstractions and derivations in water bodies, extraction of water from aquifers, effluent discharge for dilution purposes, use in potential hydroelectric and other uses that alter the regime, quantity or quality of water. CRN collects all documentation related to the intended use, carries out hydrological and other studies that may be required, in addition to the protocol and monitoring until the granting of the Grant.
-
Third Party Verification
It consists of an independent audit for the purpose of compliance of the processes and management of a company. Verify that an organization's management system has been established, documented, implemented, and maintained in accordance with a specific standard or body.
ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
-
Environmental Risk Analysis
Thorough technical analysis of potential risks and vulnerabilities to health and the environment in order to prevent or minimize accidents, helping to establish a plan for the prevention and remediation of contaminations.
-
Evaluation of Environmental Indicators
Measurement of parameters pre-established by the corporation to reach a good environmental performance. The results indicate if the development of the activities is adequate, for from then on, when necessary, to draw up improvement strategies.
-
Preparation of Environmental Liability Report
Technical document based on environmental diagnosis in order to identify potential environmental risks that prove and highlight responsibilities and assist in decision making.
EVALUATION ENGINEERING
-
Maintenance Plan Development
The Maintenance Plan includes the criticality, frequency, and periodicity of operational integrity management procedures of environmental control equipment. Its great benefit is to contribute to the reduction of labor costs, materials, unplanned downtime, loss of performance and fines.
-
Integrity Management of Equipment, Systems and Industrial Operations
Integrity Management contributes to the failure rates reduction in addition to cooperating to increase the reliability of environmental control systems and equipment.
-
Equipment Performance Evaluation
Performance verification of equipment to compensate for non-conformities, especially applied to the monitoring and minimization of environmental impacts.
FLORA
-
Management Plans
Survey and systematization of information resulting from the first project stage (Environmental Diagnosis) and subsequent planning and elaboration of programs, subprograms, zoning, and use rules of the interest forest area.
-
Recovery of Degraded Areas
Elaboration and execution of forest restoration projects and environmental programs from the Degraded Areas Recovery Program.
-
Forest Inventory
Survey of primary data applying methodologies of visualization, identification and capture, and secondary data in order to identify the forest species diversity.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
-
Water Consumption Management
Carry out a diagnosis of hydraulic loss and elaboration of a project with suggestions and implementation of measures to reduce water consumption.
-
Clean Production
Analysis of the company's production flowchart verifying opportunities to reduce the consumption of water, energy, and solid waste generation, thus reducing production costs, and indicating and implementing measures that also add economic value.
ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING
-
Collection and Interpretation of Physical-Chemical Parameters of Environmental Components
Collection of surface water (continental or marine), groundwater, soils and sediments, and subsequent analysis and interpretation of parameters established in legislation, whose conclusions will compose the final report referring to the local environmental quality.
-
Environmental Noise
According to NBR ABNT 10.151:2000, it consists of noise measurements diagnosing, evaluating the acceptability conditions in communities and in work environments.
-
Atmospheric emissions
- Air Quality Assessment: Determination of the concentrations levels of substances present in the atmosphere, especially greenhouse gases (GHG).
- Chimney Monitoring: Determination of the pollutant’s concentration levels emitted by industrial processes.
- Emissions Inventory (GHG): Emissions quantitative determination of equipment, activities, and production processes emissions.
ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION
-
Wastewater treatment
Sizing, operation and maintenance support, fault diagnosis and performance evaluation for WWTP and WTP optimizations.
-
Hydro Sanitary Projects Mapping
Elaboration of technical drawings (isometric drawings, floor plans and process flowcharts) and performance evaluation Hydro Sanitary Projects.
RD&I SOLUTIONS
The CRN business strategy includes a permanent RD&I program working in partnership with academic institutions and local and international companies, providing services and transferring technologies to clients facing economic and technological challenges, such as, renewable energy generation.
